A great time was had by all.

Sunday was active with the Pine Wood Derby for the children. We had over 40 cars competing in this event. Excitement filled the air from the children when their cars went down the track. The Fillmore Bear helped to encourage them, great job Fillmore Bear. Gary Wolfer did the announcing, Mel Sonnleitner and Michele Hatch did the afficating. The winners of the derby were 1st place Skylar Gaddy,             2nd place Noah Strickland, and 3rd place William Roeske.                 Sunday evening was filled with music by means of Street Dance.  First to appear on stage was Jordan Potter.  What an amazing performance by one of Fillmore’s youth. Second was Cold Creek Band with our local Fillmore man Holden Potter and friend Evan Castle. We once again enjoyed local young performers. The third and final band to enter the stage was The Barry Brothers, Patrick and Bradford Barry, John Mast, Pat Jelly Yeomans. They played folk and roots rock music for a huge participating fan crowd. A donation container was put out for the Barry brother’s 14 year old niece Elizabeth. Community support was abundant for Elizabeth.

At 9:30pm the sky was filled with an illuminating show of beautiful fireworks.

We want to thank everyone for all the donations, helping hands, and encouragement before and after this very busy weekend filled with free amusement rides, great fun and entertainment.
